Bryan Albin is a young and dynamic broadcaster with nearly a decade of experience in the sports media industry. Since 2019, he has acted as the fill-in play-by-play announcer for the Washington Wizards Radio Network where he has served as the lead producer and studio host since 2014. Albin expanded his role with the Wizards in 2018 when he became the lead content creator for the digital streaming station, Wizards Radio 24/7, where he hosts the only hour-long digital pregame show in the NBA titled βThe Wizards Power Hour.β
Albin has lived in the Washington, D.C. area since he began attending George Washington University in 2009 where he studied journalism and mass communications. This was where he first broke into sports media as a play-by-play and color commentator on the student radio station WRGW. Much like his basketball playing days when he was considered a multi-positional "glue-guy", Albin has remained steady in his pursuit to diversify his skillsets. In 2021, he completed a Master's in Sports Management and Analytics from American University and has worked multiple positions at WTOP-FM in Washington D.C. including sports anchor, sports and news producer, and news operations assistant.
Albin grew up in Fairfield, CT and was a graduate of Fairfield Ludlowe High School. He lives with his wife Emma and enjoys playing basketball and golf, traveling and finding new restaurants in the D.C. area.
